UNDP & UNFPA – Coordinated Humanitarian & Medical Shipments

Highland Air & Ocean Logistics successfully coordinated the transportation and delivery of multiple consignments from China to Kathmandu for UNDP and UNFPA, managing separate containers and cargo requirements within the same operational timeframe.

The project included a major shipment of contraceptive supplies for UNDP, requiring coordinated transportation, handling, manpower, and delivery to the third floor of the designated facility in Kathmandu.

At the same time, Highland coordinated the delivery of temperature-sensitive medical devices, including anesthesia-related equipment, for UNFPA, ensuring the required temperature conditions were maintained throughout the handling and delivery process.

Managing these consignments concurrently required close coordination between international partners, transport teams, handling personnel, and the receiving organizations. The successful completion of the deliveries reflects Highland’s experience in handling humanitarian, healthcare, and time-sensitive cargo with differing operational requirements.
